Torn down by hurtful words
bullies repeating them like chirping birds
every week, year after year
The girls taunted her with pain and fear.

No one understood or listened to her cries
until they read her final goodbyes
she decided she didn’t want to hurt anymore
so she jumped off the chair so her body hung just above the floor.

She decided she needed peace and quiet
but on this earth she couldn’t find it
a person left emotionally broken
a girl left with words unspoken.
.
Words trapped inside her head
ones she wished they’d never said
I encourage everyone to think before you act
no ones life deserves to end because of that
.
